Had a Tiger Cub in my late teens/early twenties.

I'd never call it a "high performance" bike, the Cub was 10 bhp, the Terrier 8 bhp.

My experience with the Cub was that if you ever tried to use its "performance" to the full, you spent the next 3 days stripping the engine down and replacing the big-end bearings, cork clutch inserts, or sundry other stuff.

Got me around ok, had a lot of fun on it, but never off road.

You can see the handbook if you want to, covers the Cub and the Terrier. Note the well-used look of it, 'cos it was:

Still got it somewhere, all that remains of my 1st ride

Here's a fun 2 stroke. '67 Greeves Anglian. This was over at a modern trials near Tulsa. I like to ride non comp in the novice class sometimes.

Many years ago, I traded my 250 Greeves for a 125cc Sachs Cross Country. That Sachs was cool and had all the latest stuff, like folding foot pegs.
There are a lot of really cool 125's I'd love to have, but with my XL body I look like a goober riding them... lol
