Where did you get your list? Being a firefighter myself for 20 years I know that firefighting is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. What you don't find in statics is all the near misses, all the injuries that occur that people don't no about. Your list doesn't mention the fact that the average life expectancy for a firefighter is only 55. Your list doesn't mention that the divorce rate among fire and police is for greater then the nation average of 50%. I have seen in the last year or so several of my friend who had only been retired a few years die before they were 60 again that is not on your list. How soon do we forget! ( 911) I believe that it was the firefighters and police officers running into save the lives of strangers not timber cutters and fisherman both of which are noble professions. Now I could go on and on but I think you get the picture!
one question for youse who whining about us firemen and 'dem cops not getting ticketed...
