So..... if you want to see your pushpin on the map, then "just say no" to that MSIE dog-squeeze browser. Go install Firefox, and start living the Good Life....
Hah! Dale, you crack me up! You're just such a sensitive, new age guy. :)

I would switch, but I just couldn't bear to go w/o that great MSN landing page with all of Bill Gate's 'progressive' ******** screed posted on their version of the news. Nice to know what the DARK SIDE is thinking (or not)...

I'll have to check out this Firefox whatchamadiggythingamajig, so I can see my pin/balloon. It won't interfere with my

daily dose of BGates propaganda, will it? :dribble:

Nope. There's this wonderful concept that one can have two browsers installed on their computer...and even running at the same time and they'll both work. In fact, I've got both open right now and flipping back and forth between them like it's the summer of 1969 and they're horny hippy chicks! It's free love baby!

Both Warchild and I have struggled to get that Google map to work with IE, but it has just gotten so painful and unproductive that we had to give up. In the case of the forum member map IE does work, but it's painfully slow. Don't get me wrong, I usually love Microsoft.....it's just that Firefox is an unusual success story where the freeware is so obviously easier to use than the stock software AND oh so easy to install. It ain't like Linux where only nerds can get it to work.

*Poster Disclosure: I own shares of MSFT, but happily include the link to Get Firefox.

Ahhh, 1969, a very good year. Thanks for the link Matt. I'll check it out.

EDIT---

Firefox installed. Whoopee! I see me now! My own balloon and everything. Life is good.

Robert try refreshing your Firefox browser. Go to the map page and click the blue circular arrow on the top of Firefox.

Refresh didn't help, Do you see me on the map ? I've been trying for a while just to find out if I'm on it. Thanks for refresh thought, at least I'm getting to learn a new system . . .Installed & seviced computers for years in the 80s but only learned enough software to diagnose, shoulda took programming classes . . .

Robert, you are not on the map. There are only two playas in the greater Pho-he-nix area showing: Badcat and beemerdons. For the most part, looking at the map in FireFox, I'd guess that half the players are not shown. A quick count shows about 80 out of 170 riders are 'on the map' - even less when you look at it through IE - meebe 40. So, chill, an' have a coolie 40 oz., yo.
