I picked up a keg of Rye Rambler from a local brewery. ABV 10.3. Do you really think I give a shit?
Rode by Mrs. Yoders today on my way back from Coshocton.Rode 3 1/2 hrs to Amish country and back for a total of 180 miles in the rain to see if my raingear was satisfactory.
Made a stop at a cheese "factory", antique store, and a bakery. Then had dinner at Mrs.Yoders.
Came home dry.
It's not on the block yet but I did meet a young couple yesterday that want it. I told them what would be taken off but they still want it except for maybe the alternative tire on the back.<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="FJRay" data-cid="1258721" data-time="1442164927">
Cleaned off yesterdays bugs and deciding what to remove before it goes up for sale maybe.

Glad you rode her, even if it might be the last ride on her.
Sell the wave runner, ride your fjr more.If anyone has any ideas, let me know...Today was a pain in the ass.
In all seriousness, if you can get it there, knock a large screwdriver through the side of the filter and out of the other side. You have all the leverage in the world. If access is limited, you may have to repeat after the first movement....Then the oil filter. That thing was on so tight, I couldn't move it. Went and bought a strap wrench pack. Piece of shit wrenches had rubber straps that slipped, so back to Autozone. Got a metal standard wrench and finally got it loose....
If it is intermittent, I'm willing to wager that a dismantle/clean/lube (of the shifter) will fix it. There is enough goo in there to keep the spring from allowing it to ratchet back for the next gear. When tightening the main pivot, make sure you don't get it too tight. Good luck!NOT GOOD, Intermittent downshifting issues on the way to work this AM. Mostly 2'nd and 1'st gear. Tap it down nothing there, Tap it down several more times and eventually it went in. It feels like nothings there. No click, nothing. Bike running fine otherwise. Upshift no problems at all. I will search the forum later.
