North out of Winnipeg on a spring day. It'll take your breath away.

For motorcycling nirvana in both street and off-road modes South Island, New Zealand is the Gold Standard. I covered most of the Continental United States, Alaska, all the Canadian Provinces, Iceland and quite a bit of Europe on a bike. New Zealand offers none of the political correctness of California, low law enforcement presence and awesome roads and trails. There are some weird vehicles on the road however.....

But there is virtually no traffic and the twisties are endless....

All that and the fishing was fantastic.....
