11 degrees this a.m. Had 2-3 inches of new snow Saturday, another inch this morning with more predicted to be on the way. I'm now thinking 52 inches of snow for this season. No riding...at all...in January. We get most of our precip March-April. We'll see. When I did a little shoveling Saturday I notice the bottom two inches under the piles is now solid ice.

Pretty nice out Sunday... JW Corbett Wildlife Mgt Area was REALLY wet though... almost all the trails were under water.

My cousin-in-law across the street is cutting his grass. Really. I can hear the riding lawn mower as I am typing this. I am about to go wash the FJR in shorts and a Tshirt. This is pretty typical for Louisiana winter.

It's 70 degrees here in Eastern North Carolina today...I had jury duty this morning and witnessed the ultimate crime: I didn't ride my bike. :( Didn't think it'd be proper to tromp into the courtroom with all my gear, lol.

At least I got some nice riding in over the 60-65 degree weekend, plus I'll be riding tomorrow. :D

Walking in with all your gear including helmet still on might have gotten you dismissed immediately. You could have rode the rest of the day.

The Big Blizzard is South of me, but sitting here in my chair looking down Spearfish Canyon, it is 32f outside, there is a cold damp raw wind blowing and I'm glad I'm inside today. Worked on gunstocks this morning, I've got 8 to get done before CFR.

Perhaps, but given the stern warning we were given by the bailiff and the posted dress code when walking into the courtroom, I might have gotten a ride, but not on a motorcycle lol.

I was a bit disappointed that we were dismissed for the week (ending my obligation)...I was enjoying the change of scenery and listening to the plea deal cases we sat through; hadn't done that in 15 years or so.

Yeah, I have enjoyed my Jury Duty in the past too. It is enlightening to see how it really works, and that it isn't at all like is depicted on Law and Order. It helps that my employer still gives us full pay when serving.

I don't remember there being any "dress code" but maybe I wasn't paying attention to the bailiff then. Glad I didn't get into any trouble.

I just had a lens implant procedure in my left eye to remove cataracts today. Since I was on an I.V. with the good stuff, I was restricted from driving or riding. But I HAVE AN EYE PATCH! I need to ride to my follow-up tomorrow...ARRG!

The recliner he is sitting in has the same riding position as the pirate bikes do.

Hope you are doing well Tom.

Brrrrrrr, it's cold here. Sat and Sun were nice. Yesterday, the wind was blowing hard and it was snowing. Our west windows had so much snow stuck on them we couldn't see out of them. The snow stopped but got blown around the rest of the day.

Today isn't windy, but it's still cold. I'm at work anyway, so whatever.

26f and a beautiful gentle Vertical snow has been falling since last night. Great day for gunstocks in the man cave and that's just what I'm doing.

Do people live in N. Dakota on purpose, or is it just a self imposed penal colony?

Tomorrow will be the third day in a row that school has been cancelled - teachers and staff can't make it out of their driveways is my guess. I wish we still had kids at home to enjoy it. Used the skid loader to open up our drive, there was 1 to 2-1/2 ft of white stuff.. All of you people in the south just don't know what real fun is.

It has been in the upper 70s and misting rain all day here. I was supposed to wash the FJR yesterday, but I got side tracked. I was going to wash it today, but I got side tracked. As I was just looking at the pics I posted of my new Givi V47 Tech top box, I realized how green and un-winter like my yard still looks. So, I will post that pic again. Mostly so I can brag about my new top box some more.
