Today we had cloud, drizzle, bright sunshine, no wind, windy; temperatures 4C to 8C (39F to 46F).

Perfect FJR riding weather.

So I went for my first ride since before Christmas :) . Only 40 miles, but that's better than not getting out at all.

17 kids? Yikes!!
Needless to say... birth control is not common in Sudbury, ON, and there is little (else) to do over the long cold winter.

WOOHOO! Actually large families were common up here years ago. Not so much anymore. Blame global warming :D

46f at 0400, I woke up when I heard the gutters and downspouts running with melting snow off the roof.

Wind then started to blow, now up in the mid 20's wind that is, temp started dropping g at 0700.

Temp now 10f with light blowing snow.

Wind East of here about 70 miles has blown a bunch of trucks over and off of I-90.

Generally crappy day, time for a nap!

85 degrees here Sunday....warmest January 4th ever recorded in Florida.

This morning, 30 degrees on my way in to work. Damn near got frostbite on the tops of my thighs.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "Whale Tail".

Back on topic... (if there is such a thing in NEPRT)

After being subjected to arctic temps all week, the mercury has climbed up enough for this **** to start falling (view out my office window this morning)

You've got some crazy weather in that neck of the woods. I don't remember exactly where I was at near Spearfish, but the first time I rode a butt burner 1500, a freak storm blew my 07 FJR right off highway I-90 flipping it 1 1/2 times.

Raining in Southern Utah today.

This is my 4th winter in Cedar City and the first January rain I remember.

January precip here is usually either snow or nonexistent.

Must be global warming.

Not saying the weather is good but central Oregon is setting high temp records and it's the first time I've been riding in January since I moved here.

It was an even, round 0ºF this morning to ensure that 100% of the moisture will fall as snow at my house. Over the next 36 hrs we are looking for ~24" of snow. A mere trifling compared to what Buffalo got so far this winter. Snow blower is on standby and shovels are ready, now all I have to do is find a teenager to run them for me

Alan,

You should move and do your ionbeam trickery down here...no teenagers required.

I checked, they do have electricity around here...at least 1.21 Gigawatts I think.
