Currently -13*F with a -31*F windchill factor here in WI.
That ain't nothin.

I remember being called into work at 6:15 Sunday morning after being up until 3am to help rebuild a temporary lath and visqueen 2-story wall on a church addition construction project I was a laborer on. 30 mph winds, -26F actual, -82F windchill.

Hammering nails without your gloves on...

That blows...

Coldest I've ever felt was a Thankgiving weekend ride from OKC to Sherman, Texas. 29F and light flurries, straight from work, sweaty an all. I was chilled by the time I got to the south side of OKC. I don't remember the whole ride, but it seemed to take forever.

The weirdest thing just came through.Thunder and lightning and snowflakes the size of quarters for about 10 minutes.

Now it's gone.

Strange....
Thundersnow

It's all the rage these days...
Some friends of mine were doing a MTB night ride that night.

They were 5 or 6 miles from the trailhead when it flew through.

They wondered if it was The End Times...... lol

:)

...This morning, it was 34 when I got to the office. Snowmobile gloves regardless, my hands were hurting.
Wot, no heated grips?
Nope...no heated grips. I figure "why pay for an option I'll use once a decade?"

Howie....get ready.
Yeah, it's gonna be a little bit uncomfortable riding in tomorrow (Friday) morning.

You may have to bundle up. Saw freeze warnings throughout Florida. Really feel your pain.
Yeah...shirt/sweater/lightweight jacket/heavy leather jacket/vinyl rainsuit jacket.

I'll be toasty-warm. :)

Don, you are missing the point. For half of the country, our entire lives have degenerated into "TWC".

The windshield washers froze up in my company car sometime at the beginning of January and are still frozen solid. We haven't seen a temp reading above freezing in over a month now, and that is rare. Almost made it yesterday when it got up to high 20's.

That Internet inventing Gore guy was right, the globe is warming. I just wish it would hurry the heck up.

A Cat 5 cyclone just about to cross the Queensland coast, 280-290 kmh winds.A bit of rain around where I live, no riding for a few days.
That sounds very serious. I lost a home to a hurricane several years ago. It is just one of the joys of living close to the coast. We get mosquitoes, gnats, hurricanes, humidity, and floods. Best of all we get straight roads! No curves to steal our happiness!

Of course, we also get the best and freshest seafood and that makes up for all our other issues.

It was 53F for my ride in to work tonight and will be 35F for my ride home in the morning. Will have to bump the grip heaters to "medium".
