Jeez oh man, this bike is great! Is it possible to fall in love with a machine?

Absolutely...there are some days that this bike just puts the biggest smile on your face. Like the last time I rode it, when some guy on an 07 was chasing me down East Fork Rd.

...Huh? Grip heaters just below 60F? I was out today, temperature max'd out at 15C - that's 59F - I was overheating. My grips only come on if it's below about 5C (41F) if it's dry, maybe below 10C (50F) if it's wet.

He's from da Sawth. I hear ya. I used to not mind the cold until the low 40s...but I'm gettin acclimated to this here suthren livin...and am enjoying the heck out of these Gen 3 grips...in the fallish 60 degree temps we are gettin these days.

Ya, six to eight inches of fresh snow last night but a balmy 21 degrees this a.m. On the bight side, I got to use, for the first time, my Craftsman yard tractor with the snowplow. Still took me an hour but it sure beats a shovel! I don't want to be on of those heart attack statistics. I know the hunters wanted some snow but this may be more than they wished for. Must be a couple of feet in the high country...which we need. That feeds the Columbia and Mississippi.

Below my cut-off of 40* this morning so I took the truck. Then the sun came out and warmed it up some. First corner I came to I started to lean into it. LOL

Might have to move south so my riding season is longer.

But mild for the time of year, around 13-14C (55-57F).

Nice fall day here. Was about 55f this morning and went for a 20 mile mountain bike ride with my son.

Kinda cloudy, but supposed to hit 68 today.

I'd like to go for a motobike ride, but have a wedding to attend here in a bit.

A bit cold this morning. It was 23 degrees when I rode to Bend for the coffee and donuts meeting. Glad I got a new controller for my Gerbings. It's supposed to cloud up and be a rain/snow mix this evening and tomorrow.
