You can count me in too. I've got a buddy who used to own an FJR, now he's on a Tiger, and we stay up there every chance we get. Is it cool if he comes also? I can definitely vouch for him. Wait a minute, this is my first FJR event so you guys don't even know me...well I can still vouch for him...lol Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting some good ridin in.

Welcome...and sure you can come..your friend used to own an FJR so sure. Being a local, you can tell people the good local roads. :)

Putting you guys down on the list.

We'll be there. Looking forward to it!

Hey guys,

Even though it is 5 weeks off I started planning my ride down there. Planning on leaving work Wednesday evening from St. Louis and probably just slabbing it to Louisville or Lexington area and staying the night there. That way I can enjoy some twisties and backroads all day Thursday making my way to the campsite on Thursday evening. Couple of questions:

1) Anyone coming from those general directions interested in riding with?

2) Anyone with some good route suggestions through KY/TN/NC?

Hey Mark,

Is it too late to get in on this gig? My "BIG" 6 week trip has been cancelled for this year, so I have have an opening in my tourtime. (My bro-in-law is off work with a back injury and may require surgery, so we have postponed our trip for a year.)

I like camping, I like NC roads, I like the FJR forum folks, I love riding my FJR, so this event fits nicely into my schedule.

Plus there will be one more Canuckian bringing a few pints of the good stuff.

Mike,

This is a camping event...plenty of space at this mcy campground! Pull up a tent and crack open a cold beer after yer ride down here. :clapping:

It will be great to see you!

Camping meet is one month from TODAY! :clapping:

You only have one month to get you, your bike, and camping gear in camping shape.

I'm trying to work it out, but can't commit just yet. Smitty wants me to share his cabin ... that scares me!
It should, because he backed out...or so he told me. Said it wouldn't work out. I'm not sure who he's setting you up with.

Well add me to the list. Didn't know there was a list with no res for camping. I'll be there w/tent and beer!

Well Reaper, if you want me to add you to the list again, yer gonna have to bring double the beer for everybody! :clapping: :yahoo:

;)

Glad yer looking forward to it. :)

I'll hit the BEER store at Niagara Falls. That way they'll be nice and fresh!
Rob stockin' up at the border

I was going to post up the other pic with the clerk hanging out the window laughing at him trying to pack it on his bike...

Still got my fingers crossed that I can make it.

Counting on meeting you there...with the ticking taken care of by then...surely you'll want to stretch the FJR's legs out. :clapping: Besides, who else is gonna make sure Robbie brings enough beer?
