Oh Fred, you're gonna fit right in :p

I was really hoping for something way up in the N E but I guess I can just do like last time and take the really long way around to get to my destination.

I was talking about giving Don a reason to post...MORE!
Since when does "The DonS" need an excuse to post?

Yah, we got family out der, eh?

It would actually be a really fun trip. I haven't been there since my Navy days. Can't wait to re-enact my "In the Navy" days with the village people.. They do live there right?
Um Fred?? Waaaaaaaaay to much info..

That's the ticket! SE Oklahoma to AR, to MO, to southern IN, to the northwest coast of Michigan, across the big bridge, to Pictured Rocks, to the curvy roads in the hills east of the Missippi River to Lacrosse.

Or by way of Alaska, or Maine.

The great thing about NAFO, is that you can make whatever trip you want out of it.

I guarantee that you'll find some great curvy, scenic roads in the vicinity of La Crosse.

Way to go Rick! Looks like we have a winner and feel free to invite as many of your models as you wish as long as they look like Leslie! (PS what is the girl's name in that picture?)

Yes her name is Leslie but she's not a model she's a fellow photographer and rider :good:

VERY nice picture Rick, I believe Leslie could make any bike look better.

It's called the Sausagefest & Gelato Tour, otherwise known as the Edleweiss Extreme Alps Tour.

As a Public Service I think I should warn all of you about Wisconsin however .....

Born in LaCrosse, hope it is in the fall, beautiful rides that time of year.

Last time I was on a good lettered county road, had lots of 15 mph 90 degree turns always ending in either tractors or dogs, watch out for those. And yes a cheesehead helmet will make you invincible.

How right you are, but don't forget to look out for the Amish exhaust.

let us not leave out the fine dineing. The 3 B's Burgers, Brats, and BEER!

Well I shouldn't complain, far less dogs than Mississippi (7.3 per capita).

I found a Badger Bar in DC on Saturday. Proper Bratwurst and . . .wait for it. Fried cheesecurds. Welcome home.

Looking forward to it.

I would love to ride to Lacrosse, WI. I have not been back there in a long time. I use to live in Madison, WI, it will be great to see old friends again :)
