Okay, youse guys, here it is:

I miss here. I love her quips and quotes, her wit, her sense of when to poke some of us in the ribs or kick us in our "hinder parts".

Where the heck did Barb go?

Did someone upset her? (Highly unlikely given her ability to perceive and respond)

Did someone offend her? (Highly unlikely given her strong sense of identity)

Did someone try to censor her? (And why would they?)

The best moments in the creation of the fabric of this forum has been the "characters" and "personalities" of those who frequent and post here.

I know I am about to step on "hallowed ground" here (Hey, I'm madmike2, that's what I do!), but a great percentage of the endearing qualities of TWN and O'valeFJR to this group, this continuum, this collective, was their posts in answer to other's statements and questions.

TWN was on the forum all day long and often posted off-topic, thread hijacking answers (and the now infamous "flying-fickle-finger-of-fate" for those old enough to remember Rowan and Martin's "Laugh In").

OrangevaleFJR would have a "few too many" and post some bizarre and entertaining quips to balance his wonderful ride reports and photographs. "Be careful....I have cows!" for example.

How boring a place would this be without BustanutJoker, odot, and RadioHowie, just to name 3 of the hundreds that give this meeting place a flavor that I, for one, enjoy (though I don't always understand and refuse to try)!

I repeat: "Where the heck did Barb go?"

Someone "fess-up"! Orrrr, as an alternative.....fix it (repair the breach, heal the wound, whatever)!

Should we start a poll to see if anyone else feels the same way? Or would this thread be enough?

P.S. It's Friday....so let'er rip!

Damn good observation MM. I don't know the answer to your question. Have you tried her FaceBook page? Maybe she found a new love and is happy with the new indoor life? I don't know, I just wish her the best possible in life, she's really cool.

she's busy vacuumin' and womanly duties in the kitchen...
just sayin' :yahoo:
I'd be more than a little careful! :dribble:

My guess is that she's more than able to take care of herself....and any lady who can hang siding on their garage must be able to wield a pretty good hammer..... I'm just sayin'.....

Besides, it's Friday night and that means laundry, not running the vacuum cleaner. THAT is Saturday's chore!

I'm not psychic...but maybe it is a self imposed cooling off after the closed wambulance thread.

Oh...and OM, that IS what they call it in BC these days...if you had been to CFR you would have known that.

Well she contacted me askin about good rides on the Olympic Peninsula, that's not really not my side. But the weather turned to poop then I heard something about Calgary. I was hopin that I'd hear from her and show about a bit.

I'm sure she's ok.

I remember she was heading out for Calgary the day I left there about two weeks ago. I don't remember anything posted since.

Y'all are really a bunch of detectives!

She posted here yesterday.

Geez, nobody wonders about me when I don't post for 24 hours! Must be the cleavage!

It isn't that she's not posting, it's that she doesn't seem to be her "normal" (if one could call it that) self. With Tyler our of action, when she isn't participating, it's more obvious.....maybe only to me.

AND it isn't the cleavage (not that there's anything wrong with that)....I'm a "leg man".

MM2 did you need her to do the dishes?
Nope! I already know how to do all the necessary home chores. I'd call them "senior-bachelor-necessities"....or else use paper plates. But really, how many dishes can one man use in a day. Besides, cleaning dishes is why God made pets.

Mike ! you don't have any live pets except for the cat that lives with your daughter. The rest are stuffed and in the back room. Maybe now I know what they are stuffed with.

see Scab? I told you my **** were nicer than yours

nah nah nah nah nah

:bleh:

Geez, can't leave you boys to fend for yourselves for a while huh? Sounds familiar...

No man (dammit!), no angst, no domestic slavery (I saw that Patriot!!); just lots of riding, lots of "life" stuff during this summer of '09

...and, to be honest, I am missing Tyler. So many things are just NOT the same.
