I saw a lot of familiar sights, and all of them thanks to my FJR. Since '07 when I came into the fold, the great majority of the most gorgeous places in the western U.S. and Canada that I've seen first hand have been from the saddle, including everything I saw in this video. Good one, Dave.

Neat stuff. I'm going to set foot (once again, this time with the Mrs.) soon at the Little Big Horn Battleground, awesome scenery, but a heavy aura is felt when walking the fields there. Like Mike, I've seen much of the state from the saddle of my FJR, but never tire of it's stark beauty.

My memories of riding in Montana are from July 4, 2010. Cold (maybe 50F, at most) and wind blowing 40+ mph at right angles to the highway riding from Glacier NP down to Great Falls. A day or two later, the Beartooth was closed due to snow and freezing rain after a chilly ride through Yellowstone. Beautiful country but I hope that the next time I am there (likely next year), the weather will be a bit more favorable.

We moved to Montana a bit over two years ago from Alaska when we retired. Been fortunate to live in two of our most spectacular states. Montana is the better for motorcycle riding; many great rides in Montana and the adjoining states and provinces. Alaska and the Yukon have good rides too, but Alaska is by far the better place for SnoGos. And, the weather n Montana is tropical compared to Fairbanks.
