Will this dvd driver work on my computer

I figured i`d ask here before i go & ask some dumb clirk if it will & bring it home & mess my computer . This is what i`m looking at https://www.staples.com/office/supplies/p4_...35#revs_content . I`m looking at installing it in my Dell demension 4600 desk top with windows XP Home version 2002 , since it now only has a cd burner & i need to run my Garmin streets map & wifie don`t want me to install it into her labtop.

Windows 2000 Professional SP4, Windows XP Home Edition SP2 and XP Professional SP2, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Ultimate.

if you have the required mins as stated it should work fine...having the software to actually burn content is another matter.

I checked & mine & it has Service Pack 3 installed , well i went & got it. When i went to staples they didn`t have any on the shelf , so i asked the tech guy if they had it in stock. He scaned the tag & said it in there lock up room, so when he went to the register with it he said it was 34.99 (on sale from 69.99 ???) But i told him it was online for 24.99 & so he checked thu the register & came up with 24.99 & so that what i paid (yahoo) So now i have my future nephew coming over to install this puppy (just did my niece`s) . So hopefully i`ll get this map DVD going & make some routes up & when the weather gets better i`ll run them.
