I just know this isn't going to polish out.

So I'd like to replace it if possible.

Anybody got one or know where I can find one?

I've tried eBay and several parts places: https://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/yamaha/YP-5JW-W9340-0R-36.html seems it's an obsolete product?

Part # 5JW-W9340-0R-36 LID, SIDE BAG R

Cerulean Silver

If all else fails, I'll try a local body shop.

Guess I'm going to need a T-Rex slider puck too.

Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking you should contact Garauld 'cause it can 'polish' out (with a little help from some body filler). I'm willing to bet in a couple of weeks that cover can look like it never happened. You are on your own with the slider that gave it's life to the cause.

Thanks.

'garauld' came to mind but shipping cost between Canada and the US is stupid at the moment.

If I can't find one, it may be time to practice painting. I can get a ColorRite aerosol 'kit' in the correct color and I can't make it any worse - can I???

Replacement slider pucks are on the way.

The '04 has one of the hardest to match paints of any year. So far ColorRite has been as accurate in matching paint as the Penguins were effective against the Bruins.

You guys still watching hockey down there? Up here were on to lawn bowling! Oops, only American teams left!

Here's my lower fairing that I bashed up worse than yours (more like your bag cover). I filled then repainted with Colorrite base and clear from spray cans. The only problem with this is that if you ever decide to repaint using a professional base and clear from a manufacturer like PPG you 1st have to remove the Colorrite because the solvents in the PPG base will lift the Colorrite from the substrate.

That's encouraging - thanks!
