What days are you considering? I am fairly local (a couple hours away). A bed Sat night would be nice. I'm toying with Fri too.
Hi all!
Due to my work situation, I can only tentatively commit to this outing, but that should be resolved in the next few days.
In any event, I'm holding reservations for Thu/Fri/Sat night at the Mariposa Lodge. One room, two queen beds, and I'm only planning on using one of the beds myself. The other can be open on a cost sharing basis for a roommate who is tolerant of snoring.
If it turns out I can't make it, I'll transfer my reservations to someone else.

Okay. The big boss man says I can escape for the long weekend! I should be arriving sometime Thursday afternoon and staying until Sunday morning. Spare bed to let to the snoring tolerant (or hard of hearing) . PM me if interested, and we can sort details.

I received a call from Mariposa lodge two days ago. They had an apartment become available. The apartment contains 3 bedrooms. That would be a great opportunity for a late comers roomshare.

NightShine and I are splitting his room. If there is a third person currently homeless perhaps the 3 bdrm apt is of interest. All could snore at their own cadence.

It looks like there'll be places for whoever wants to be there, but I'll put this in case somebody either needs a room or wants to save some money. I've had a double-queen room at the Mariposa Lodge reserved for weeks. I thought maybe my non-riding wife might want to drive down and do some socializing, but she's decided against doing that. Then when HRZilla was thinking about YFO after his DC trip I offered the spot to him if he could make it. Turns out he had too much stuff backed up for another week on the road, so we won't see him in Yosemite either.
Bottom line, I can take on a roommate. So if you're looking, or even if you already have a reservation but would like to cut costs, it's not too late to cancel that one and share a room. CPAP user, which takes care of the snoring issue. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Okay just in case some one of y'all need a room for Friday night I got the last unit across the street at the Mother Lode Lodge and it has a little kitchenette apparently. Guy that was coming up with me can't make it so there's an extra queen bed available plus another twin. I've only got it for Friday night cuz I got to head back Saturday but if there's any last minute people that feel like they want to go for a night or need a place to stay Friday night then you got a place directly across the street from the Mariposa, so it's stumblin'distance. Look me up I'm an FNG but I don't snore so there's that. I'm Daniel and I'll be on the blue 2-ought-15 ES.
