Just in case the people that rely on maps become disoriented and unable to distinguish the difference between North & South, I have programed all of the pertinent addresses into my GPS, including the Mobil Station located at 5553 White Oak Ave.
Just as a precautionary measure mind you! :p
I have a second option for the ride home, the first option included highway 33 (Dan you have that route), i just did another route which includes Tim's memorial route plus Tepusquet road..HERE is a link in google maps (Don might understand this).

Personally i would like to do this route.

Techo-Dork, Dan! Thanks to Uncle Sam, I still own a M-1950 Lensmatic compass, same one I had in the 5/32nd Artillery; I'll show it to you on Saturday. North vs. South my ***!

Either route we take is fine with me but if we have a choice I would vote for the Ojai 33 route. That is one of my favorites :D

OM and Dr Rich how about we meet you guys at either Gorda at between 2.30-3pm or you can ride down to Paso Robles and meet us there at noon at a place called good O'l burgers just of the freeway on 24th st......

Let us know which is good for you.

Richard, depending upon what time it is when we roll through Monterey, we may try catch you fellows in PR. At the very worst, we'll see you in Gorda. It'd be nice to trade hugs and kisses ( :****: ) with Carver before he turns back south.

And Beemerdons, Dr. Itch always packs a few fatties for these Hwy. 1 assaults.

(Tapes 'em to his radar detector. Says the ocean air improves the buzz. ;) )

What?

I just e-mailed saturdays route (including Ivors) to Dan (big D) Dan (ynotride) and Simon. anyone else want it?

I got it. Thanks Richard. ;)
No thanks, Simon; my GPS is packed under the plastic window of my tank bag. Beautiful morning right now in Phoenix at 1am, almost full moon and perfect for riding!

Shutting this computer down and heading out the door; to meet up with Big-D at Denny's in Blythe for the dcarver Special. See you FJR mooks 0900 at Doffo Winery.

I met up with the NorCal gents for breakfast at the famed Alice's Restaurant - Old Michael, Dr. Rich, Brodie, Brian/FJRONMISSION, and Ray/Silent (who has been silent for too long... and I missed his biker chick too)

Rich and Ray are trying to read each other's mind... I think they fell asleep... ;)

Can't miss Brodie's bike... they saw it from about 10 miles away!

This family model rig was parked right next to the deck where we were sitting...

Everybody all suited up and ready to go... the kids had electronic gadgets to keep them occupied in the sidecar!

After a sumptuous breakfast, Dr. Rich and OM headed to meet up with the Zonies who were heading north on Hwy 1... riding in the Silver Chariot, I took a more leisurely pace down 84 and Pescadero Rd. and a stop at one of my favorite places, Pescadero Beach... it was a stunningly beautiful day!

I then headed to Monterey to meet a some of the silverback forum members - Fairlaner, beemerdons, Big-D, DJ Bill and also met Danny/ynotride and John/John Dumke for dinner...

Rich was looking very festive for the evening...

Given the De Anza Best Western (great room price, btw!) was not nearly within walking distance of the wharf area, it was decided to sup at the restaurant next door to the hotel, Monterey Cookhouse, which had excellent food and the gents were gentlemen and bought me dinner... thanks, guys! B)

Self portrait in the elevator (mirror on the ceiling)...

They had an indoor pool in the lobby filled with koi... that one in the middle was huge! I saw Richard eyeing it before dinner... thank gawd he didn't have a rod and reel!

And then I watched them play with their balls... sometimes they played with each others... Richard's was blue. :D
