WNY Tech Day III, Saturday June 4, 2016

Well, I guess with all the other Tech Day announcements, I need to get another one out there. Laura and I will be offering up our humble abode once again for any and all who would like to add farkles, tweak their suspension, change tires, check valves...or just stand around with a drink in their hand and give the rest of us ****!

The chosen date is Saturday, June 4. I know, I know, that's FODS weekend (at least I THINK it is)! It's just about the only weekend that I could get Ray, as he seems to have a rather busy schedule for a retired guy.

As a reminder, I have only basic tools, but I do have a rather recalcitrant HF tire changer, if anyone needs to abuse themselves and swap shoes. I will have some accommodations for those who wish to overnight (whether to facilitate a cold engine for a valve check Saturday morning or to avoid a DUI Saturday night!)

More details will be forthcoming, but I wanted to get this out there and see what interest there may be. I know this is the week before CFR as well, so that will be a consideration for some (Laura and I will be at CFR, barring any complications). Let me know what y'all think!

I have to do at least a tire pressure check, once that is done I can assist KJ with painting his center stand. What else is going to get done during this tech day?

I'm not going to do anything..... going into instructor mode and making sure I don't let my beer go warm. Tim, stay with us at the shop....... you don't want to be way down the street where the Beemer parking is.......

My son and I stayed at a Super 8 last year that was about 15 minutes or so away from Mike and Laura's. Price was good and the hotel was clean.

Another contingent of the Canadian Invasion Army visited the WNYFJR facility yesterday on a scouting mission to assess the situation and to do some mini-farkling. All was well in the village of Eden as we also decided to sample the offerings of a local eatery at the four corners in Eden..... yep, Four Corners Cafe is what it was called and we didn't leave hungry. Great riding temperatures yesterday, Madmudder and Wine Guy enjoyed the trip and commradery. WNYFJR...... well, he was just being his usual accomodating self and put up with us.....
