Is there a chance of a canceled trip? First I'd heard of this.
The Ramble has never been cancelled in my memory. One year, I moved the day from Saturday to Sunday because of high chance of thunderstorms on Saturday...and less on Sunday. However, that was probably a mistake...as the Saturday riders seemed to think it wasn't too bad considering. Last year, we had a Saturday and Sunday ride scheduled...Saturday's weather was okay...but Sunday's was heavy rain...so people (except the 'Nadians) scattered for other parts to ride in drier weather.

So no...there is not a likely chance that the Ramble will be cancelled...no more than a EOM being cancelled or a WFO....oops, nevermind.

I'll be there in all my glory. With a beer in hand likely after a long twisty day's ride.

OK guys,

I took the advise of my Chief-of-staff. The new Ohlins front and rear suspension is on it's way. No more taking 35 M.P.H. turns at 36 M.P.H.. I'm bumping it up to 38 M.P.H. from now on.

I booked a room at the Microtell in Marriesville. I can't wait to see everybody .

Looking forward to seeing you in Marriesville in June...for some low speed sweepers.

I just booked a room for $71.47 per night on their site. The only catch is you have to cancel by 4pm. on Thursday the 2nd or it's a one night charge.

Really??? I'm apt to cancel my reservation made at the front desk & re-make it through their site. I'm assuming I will know if the weekend's a go by Thursday @ 4pm.

This has me scratching my head as to why the prices are all over the place?

OH NO!

Moto Series just announced their 2013 scheduel.

The first date: MAY 3-5

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions. What to do? What to do? So much riding, so little time.

If someone was to pay my expenses, that could make the difference.

Racers Race. If I had my choice I would be racing every weekend. I love the ramble - but driving on public roads no matter how great does not hold a candle to racing on a race track. I will be dragging a knee in the carousel at tripple digits while you guys are avoiding gravel, cars and dogs on blind corners. Gray Ray is up in the air becuase he aint really much of a racer - more of a poser

Ok then...have fun you Racer

Got up to 65 today so I played hookey this afternoon to test out luggage with my homemade racks to keep the soft bags off the rear cowl. And no futzing around getting the bags centered, even, etc. Just pop them on the rack and one bungie cord per side.

Here she is in touring mode:

Don't worry Mark. Since I'll be one of the nonFJR guys I'll have money for beer..... as long as you don't mind all splitting one.

WOW !! Listen to Ray carry on. Sounds to me like he has a terrible itch that he can't scratch.

Can somebody get him some Vagisil.

Those bags look like they will hold at least an 18 pk or more each. Throw a t-shirt in the tank bag and head on over...
