    Speaking of Tank bags...

Good call on the pocket material, i hadn't given that much thought either. I will be running most of my electronics in a tank bag also and now the cell phone will be in there. I suppose it is a good habit to get into. As for the magnets i count myself as lucky i have had no such problems with...

    bar risers

Been riding the bike with my arms pretty much straight. Locked elbows no bend in them at all, I'm new to the bike and don't have to many km's on it yet, but I'm pretty sure that it is a fatiguing riding position and was wondering what people are doing in the way of bar risers. I'm 5'7" with...

    06 watts spare capacity?

Ran my heated vest and heated grip wraps on the weekend, i noticed that the battery tender was still showing red well after her wash and wipe down, when normally it would go to green with in minutes. I think the volt meter would be a good idea, esp with the amount of farkles i still have planned...

re: CB install off of Mark Johnsons FJR site

I read the cb install post on MJ's site and went ahead and purchased a Valkyrie CB set up, i'm wondering if anyone can save me the searching time and provide me with some info? 1. What are the part numbers for the 7 pin male / female extension cord for the CB head unit up on the handle...

2008 FJR1300 - Dear Yamaha, this is what we want.

I've come to the FJR after riding a few bikes 1 a Suzuki SV650S and my old eyes did like the BIG DIGITAL SPEEDO on that bike. The other was my Gold Wing an older Gl1500 now, but standard cruise for touring. I'd like to see a fly by wire TPS throttle and an ECM controlled (non-vacuum) cruise on...

FJR soft bag liners and tool kit for 07

Hmm interesting, I'm still awaiting the arrival of the bags for my '06 and i had no idea that the bag liners came with the bags. Is this only in the USA or do the Canadian bikes also come with the bag liners? Any Canuck FJR owners on the board answer that question for me? Cheers

    Bike speakers

Since i am going with the Valkyrie cb radio option, which has an audio input on it, it looks like i will stick with the headset option. It will take some getting used to and i may need to upgrade my headset speakers for fidelity sakes, (ed sets) and for other inputs i.e. GPS, MP3 and what have...
