2005 - LH (turn signal) switch assy - wire routing

.... TTT .... Please Help ? Does anyone know the answers to my previous questions ? I'd sure hate it if I have to take off all the fairings, the fuel tank, the radiator, the air box, the injectors, and the upper fairing, only to find that I could have only removed the radiator to replace...

Turn signal & flasher fuse keeps blowing!

Riding a BMW R1150R to the TT this summer

I will be renting a BMW R1150R with full bags for my wife and I to ride from Dublin to the TT and back this summer. Could you please give any insights, opinions, or observations to compare an contrast how (vastly) different it will be from riding my '05 FJR with "full" GP suspension ?

    Pirelli Angel St

Ok .. new transmission and new Pirelli Angels ... pretty much all I have used since I bought my FJR is diablo stradas (22K miles since I purchased the bike). My angle on angels: Much sharper steering, lightning quick turn in = MUCH MORE FUN in the super technical stuff. Totally stable...

    Grindy Noises

If it was up to me ... I'd probably settle on a few vehicles which "fit the bill for me" and keep "recycling" them. "Normally" I have (budgeted for and) bought a new bike every five years. - this year instead of that I spent 3K on a BUILT motor for my 88 Hawk, and 3.5K on a new transmission...

    Grindy Noises

Yup ... looks like I will be back to "shifting the way God intended" .... with the clutch ! ( like I did for about 20 years ... before I started listening to the people who told me it wouldn't damage the trans at all ) Can't wait to get her back out of the shop ... hopefully before Laguna Seca...

    Grindy Noises

Well .. she's in the shop, getting lots of work done on the tranny They are replacing "several gears" and three shift forks ($1500 in parts) ... not sure if any of that could have been causing the "grindy-ness" I experienced recently. Middle Drive Gear (bevel gear) bearings are in "like new"...

    Grindy Noises

Cool .... Thanks Howie That about seals it then .... time to get the tranny rebuilt .....

    Grindy Noises

Not 100% sure .... is the bevel gear you refer to inside the differential (pumpkin) ? ... that's not where the noise is coming from ... the noise is coming from the transmission area ... verified with stethascope, motor off, in gear, clutch lever pulled in, rotating wheel Gotta get 2nd gear...

    Grindy Noises

Done lots of searches .. haven't found the same problem described. 2005 FJR has 28K "HARD" miles on it, "2nd gear forks" are "tweaked" (slips in 2nd) - been that way for over 8K miles. (has not gotten worse) Now I am having what appears to be lots of "gear noise" from down by my feet. Noise...
