    Say No to YES

Let me see . . . I put 20k miles per year on my bike so my "Yes" purchase for approx. $400.00 gave me a 100,000 mile warranty. Not bad. I have had the tick fix, cam chain and tensioner replaced along with a few minor odds and ends. Your pool of money to the "yes" fund helped pay for my...

    Old Michael Update

Obviously I haven't logged on for awhile and now this! Someone forgot to tell Michael that the Olympic tryouts are over . . . DOH! And, I was in Reno these last two days and would have loved to visit! Get well Michael. You are one very special guy and loved by all. Put Karen and I down on...

    lowering the FJR

I ordered an Wilbers rear-shock as part of a group buy approximately 24 months ago and asked that it be made 1" lower. I then lowered the front forks approximately 3/4" [which is all the room you have with the stock handlebars]. It allows me to get a little more of my feet on the ground and...

    Pragmatic Approach to NAFO

Well done. Thanks for sharing. I am glad to see you made it home safe and sound. We just rolled in about 4 hours ago. Oh, good cover-up on the Sturgis thing. Obviously you did not want your wife to know about all the naked girls and all . . . . ;)

    Name that dog!

Cool pup! He looks like it is worth every penny. How about: "FM" - for "fast mover". Westies are quite quick I understand. "Slider" is a cool name. I like it. How about "Groove" for how "Stella got her groove back". "bagger". "Noogie". He has a great doo for a noogie. "Bullitt" like...

    Cdogman in Norcal...

Smooth is quick! He was a little rusty last time out. I actually saw him make a mid-corner correction once . . . one more than usual. :D

    Trigger Green Lights

One trick that seems to work for me that was not mentioned in the article -- reach back with your left foot and ground the center stand. It has more metal than the sidestand and it will not kill the engine when you do this. Thanks for the article!

    Cdogman in Norcal...

Great pics and an awesome ride! Thank you all for your wonderful company! I said to one of the rookie police officers on the training ride (tongue in cheek), "If you want some real training why don't you try to keep up with us?" [At this point Roger is looking for a place to hide  ]...

We're in - two up! [assuming my bike gets out of the shop as scheduled]. I am having a major service done before NAFO. Let's see . . . . final drive oil change and rear shaft lube; valve guide check; new cam chain tensioner and related parts; plugs; TBS; new front tire; coolant change and...
