    Belt drive

Yes a lot of the bikes and equipment around the turn of the century up into the 30's used belts that were riveted together in uniform pieces. If you needed to shorten a belt you just took out a couple of pieces to the length you wanted and riveted it back together, however these were very low...

O.M.G., FJR is near match to Hayabusa performance?

Yes I see there is quite a difference at the end of the strip, however I would venture to bet that if you were to line the two bikes up side by side with EQUAL riders aboard I'll bet the times would be a lot closer. I would think the FJR is a lot easier to launch and get hooked up than a busa...

    2008 CFO

Hey Jackson, just one thought. With this much advance notice would it be possible to group the rooms a little closer together? It would save walking the length of the motel for drinks!!! And we wouldn't have a bunch of cars parked between the bikes. Stan

AE rides need a procedure for this?

Yes JR I can relate, seems our lives have followed similar paths. Your Int. must have an Eaton AUTOSHIFT, that is the one with the clucth pedal, The Eaton ultrashift is the one with no clutch pedal, we have both in our fleet but we also have meritor freedomlines two pedal 12 sp automated...

    '07 windshield play annoying

The "w' mount on my 07 has no play at all, my windscreen has a small amount of FLEX at the top of the screen, but it's hardly anything that bothers me while riding. Stan

    Turn signal cancellation

. I've seen other folks mount an under the seat vibrating unit linked to the blinker circuits (no honest!) that sort of does the same job as the visual indicator or the beeper (but from another angle, so to speak). HHHmmmmmmm, This may lead SOME people to leave the blinker on for extented...

Why is nothing wrong with my bike?

I've read this post since day one, but I had not ridin my bike in altitude so I did not want to post on something I was not sure about. So this week at CFO I had ridin the bike hard and over 6700 feet, even lugging it down up a steep gravel road at that altitude. I am happy to report not one...
