Gee....a ST bike that's a sportbike under the skin....sounds like my gen1 FJR. They have been taunting us with this thing for years, even had a V-5 design. 200 crank hp on a ST intrigues me but will I beleive it when I see it.

James Burleigh must be a ***** *** lawyer from SF. Great idea from from a few beers and some hardware. If we can load it with super-stink juice then we have a product. I bet you could squirt some 'gaiters with red water and they would still not have a clue to your proximity.

I bet some tire feedback had a lot to do with it. If you were riding N. Texas chip-seal it is more seal covered with sand and fine dust than chip, most corners are beaten down smooth, especially around St. Jo where the oil field trucks roll 24/7. Good call because old comes with some wisdom.

Same as MN ^^^ Replaced mine and all that noisy racket is gone, '05 w/33K. Search the valve threads if there is a tick once that is done but it usually shuts things up for a good long time.

I guess it's too late to ditch those reflectors....can't wait to see it !

Some tasty red rim stripes and maybe a few small red body accents and you could have it looking like the R1.....which is a wet dream on two wheels.
