J&m makes an adapter that fits their headsets and a midland 85-722(? is that the right # ?). They sell a kit with a handlebar bag and the radio. I use this set up on my sport bike and have decent range. Handi talkie range mind you. The adapter was about 50 bucks IIRC. >>>>75-822

Hijack, sorry OP. I thought VG2 was a type of detector detector as well as Spectre (sp?). VG2 is detectable and Spectre is not to most RD's? The way the RD defenses work is to physically shut down the RD thus supposedly making it invisible? Is this correct? But.........still do not trust...

I bet it is cheaper to add BT output than to have a weatherproof connector for output. This may be how they lowered price. If I already had a BT headset, then this would be the way I would go. I originally thought BT was for phone not output.

Like others have said, I could not have a gps w/o headphone jack. That is not terribly motorcycle friendly in my opinion. Maybe they were thinking the opposite?

Ok. For those of us who love to watch these things but don't know what kind of pre goes into stunts like this......what had to be done to the wing tips on a plane built like that to keep it from getting shredded?
