    CFR or Bust!

Just came back from doing a little scouting for CFR 2010 with the BugR the grand rallymaster and saw this thread pop up again. Reread it all just like it was new :clapping: Nakusp will be hard to beat I think but we'll give it a good go! Hope to see all you good folks from the west again...

    Blah.

Steve Sorry to hear about your lay off; several of my family have been in similar situations recently so I have a vague idea of what you are going through. I think James Burnleigh's advice is spot on. Your current job is finding a job and networking, networking, networking is the key! And hey...

HELP..fighting a speeding ticket in VT.

I'm sorry I've never had a ticket so I can't really help you.... :P though I've always found Vermont a great state to ride in where the people are very aware of riders and the enforcement lenient. If you got a ticket you must have really deserved it!

    Proper riding gear

So I am a rider who has ridden long distances in extended rain for weeks on end and my usual gear is first gear overpants and Kilamonjaro jacket with FroggToggs as required. Usually I only wear the upper FroggTogg as the lower seems to stay dry in everything but torrentail downpours. Mine never...

When i went to CFR recently and about day 3 of heavy rain my check engine light came and I rode for 20-30 min until I got to civilization somewhere and pulled over and stopped. Restarted the bike and the light went away never to be seen again. I meant to check it but forgot until now. The diag...

Garmin Nuvi GPS (Car) with Motorcycle?

I have a nuvi550 that i used during cfr (21 days rain with occasional sun). It is waterproof and you can use it with rain mitts on. ;) I found it a bit difficult to use it in bright sun with polarize sunglasses glasses and if i had the energy i would make a little sunshade for it but it s...

    Track Day Pics - finally!

Great write up. Notice that you removed the centerstand as well. She does look pretty nice naked. Re track days, there are many at Shannonville and at the new track at Calabogie which is proving to be a great local hit. We rode that track a few years ago (before it opened)
