    cheap wired intercom

I bought one of these https://www.imc-motorcom.ca/content/products.php?catalog=1_2_3&language=en It seems to work fine when I tested it. But my buddy's bought bluetooth units so I abandoned this unit. Has lots of options to connect to pillion, MP3 player, and 2 way radio.

Are the maps from fuel moto actual made by them?

I got a PCV from fuel moto. There are lots of places to get this unit, but none I found said they had a custom tune for the FJR. When I talked to fuel moto they said they had done FJR's on their dyno. So I ordered the unit. When I ordered the unit I told them I had on 09 and had Guzzy slips...

FJR Goodies. What's up with the web site?

they got like maybe 10 or so items. How can they survive off that.

I got a new 2009 in the Pacific Northwest for $11,500 about 3 months ago.

There's a little bit of hooligan in this bike...

Is this something that only effected the 06/07's? My 09 seems pretty tight, but I never hear anyone complain about the newer FJR's on here. I'd like to unwind my spring.

An update on mileage saga and PCV

I have an 05 Lariat and want to upgrade. Ford came through town recently to host a drive and learn at the local race track. They had the V6 turbo, the 5.0, and the 6.2. I drove both the V6 turbo and 6.2. That 6.2 was amazing. Really torquey. The 0 to 60 was like 6.5 to 7 seconds...

    Race Tech Gold Valve Installation

Great post. I love pictures. I've put gold valves in a few of my dirtbikes. But on street bikes I've only every just changed spring rate to match my weight. Maybe its time to do both on my new FJR. Or maybe springs this year and gold valves next year.

Update your software. You're still on the old updater. New one is ver 3.0.17.

I just updated the Scala G4 to new 3.0 firmware...

Run their update software. The latest is 3.0. It was just released last week.

I just updated the Scala G4 to new 3.0 firmware...

Well I haven't used it enough to give it a good review, but the feature list looks really good. Sensitivity levels for VOX and AGC is a great way to fix their problems with VOX and AGC. Also it has different volume levels for all the different sources. Another great idea. However...there is...

Throttlemeister guys - heavy or not?

I bet the standard version of the TM would dampen much more then the stock and probably will dampen about as much as can be done. I'm sure the larger ones are not adding much more dampening. However, if you ever went down the extra length would probably help protect that plastic a bit more...

Throttlemeister guys - heavy or not?

OK, now that makes sense. Thanks. I'm pretty sure these will be on my list of stuff to buy when I place my order with MCL later this month.

    Fork Oil Level

This is true to a certain extend. The valving is designed to work with a specific range of oil weight. Even the primitive inners of the FJR forks. The clickers are a way of fine tuning the dampening so they have a limited range. If you went too thick in the oil, you'll get hydrolock where...

    Fork Oil Level

I don't think this is a good idea at all. I'm not sure how many fork oil changes you've ever done, but you'll never be able to get all the old stuff out from the top, even if the forks are fully compressed. With all the moving parts inside there's a bunch of "material" that can build up at the...

Anyone tried or use Howard Leight Pilot ear plugs?

I got the literature today also. But no plugs. I sent them an e-mail explaining this and I got an e-mail yesterday that they have sent me a pair. Who knows if it will actually come.

Throttlemeister guys - heavy or not?

No, I'm not kidding. It's a pretty simple concept. But a video showing technique would be cool. The video I seen with two handed engagement looked like the throttlemeister rotated 180 degrees. Geez, that seems like alot of rotation while still holding the throttle at a constant speed. And I...

Throttlemeister guys - heavy or not?

I'd like to see a video of how to use the throttlemeister. Anyone know of one that shows how to engage it while riding? The ones I found on youtube don't show it very well. I can picture it, but a video would sure be nice.
