Look what the Easter Bunny Brought me!!

Depends on what you're listening for. She could fart a Beach Boys tune with that setup.

    horn

Good job! I'm surprised that you didn't mount the compressor on the right side horn mount, considering you seem to have a good grasp on the whole install. The hose would've ended up about 2" long. Hell, you got THAT far with it. What's one more bracket? It fits nicely on the 1st gen bikes.

    wiring harness tape

Or just go to home Depot and buy a roll of 3m Super33 + electrical tape. Quality stuff. I buy it buy the case and use for all my installs. Best part is you can peel it off a year later and no gooey mess. Whatever you do, DON'T buy Super 88! It's made for cold weather only, and will snap off...

    horn

Good idea, BUT.......you'll get a longer delay in response when you hit the horn button. Email me a pic of the compressor mounted and I can make a harness for you.

"How To" for make Carbon Fiber parts

Hey Checks, do you have any pics of the piece before you cut/trimmed it out? Man I love that ****. I was a prosthetic/orthotic tech for 25 yrs and learned all kinds of thermoplastic pulling ideas. But we never worked ABS plastic. I'm wondering how you got it to form back on itself. One...

Using a cinder block to prop up your bike

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the "jackstands under the sliders" idea. I've been doing it that way since the first tire change. 1...Put a 2X10 under the center stand, and another under the rear wheel facing the line of the bike. (like a "T") 2...PUUUULLLL the bike up onto the 2X10 and...

I'm using a Panasonic "walkman" type portable stereo and it works fine. got it cheap on eBay I just picked up a Delphi Skyfi3 and an extra car kit to install in place of the stereo. Although I may just run the XM unit through the walkman and have the best of both. I use an Autocom Active 7...

    FJR dealers near Clinton, NJ

+1 for Speer's. I bought my bike there. Although I now have a personal issue with them, I still recommend people to go there. Business is business, and they're service is one of the best.

    FJRandy and custom wiring

Yup. That's the company that makes it, but it's still not FJR *****-proof specific. my advice? Don't sit on the fence waiting for me. I'm already well into remote starter season, so this specific project is on the back burner for a while. Installing 12v electronics in vehicles is my primary job.

planning short trip - need help

C'mon Bill, we already discussed this. The "first" EOM was held at Bear Mountain in NY in fall '02. About 6 or 8 bikes, that was it. Hey Geezer, you used to live about 10 minutes away from me in Jersey. I'm in Lyndhurst.
