I got the black ones. I LOVE them. They accentuate the FJR's lines, and sound DEEP and awesome at idle & around town, and are not annoying at all at freeway speeds. I have gotten a LOT of compliments. Could not be happier. I am not sure these pics will come out, but here goes...

I didn't say so, but yes - I laid into the horn, and I believe that helped. Downshifting as I slow down is SOP, so I didn't mention it. I have a set of Stebel TM 80 Magnum horns to install this weekend if I can find room under the fairing. :bike:

A friend who has a Gen 1 FJR is said (by others) to have routinely dragged the bags of the FJR in corners. Is this possible or is it an urban legend being built? I looked at both sides, and it seems like a lot of hard parts would drag first. He has since sold it so I cannot check it out on...
