    HOT HOT HOT

My FZ1 is faired also, that's why I was a bit surprised.

    HOT HOT HOT

Rode 150 miles or so on the FJR Saturday, jumped on the FZ1 and rode about the same distance on Sunday. It's a very noticeable difference in temperature between the two bikes. I really didn't think there would be as big of a change. Boy is this bike comfortable 2 up though.

    FJR Lite w/6-speed

Well, I took off on the FJR and put on around 200 miles this morning. Straight line roads and some with a lot of curves(There are no chicken strips on the tires at all). :-) Boy, this thing is a bit top heavy in comparison. I came home and had a nice lunch with the wife, cut the grass, then...

    FJR Lite w/6-speed

I own a 08 FZ1 & Dynoed @152 RWHP, [ you don't have to spend a fortune to achieve this] & I can tell you my 08 FJR with aftermarket slipons,PC111, K&N filter, etc etc with almost the same money spent, is quick, but no match for the FZ1, particularly performance & handling wise. Two entirely...

    FJR Lite w/6-speed

It isn't soft in the lower rpm ranges when spockets are changed believe me. Whole different animal.

    FJR Lite w/6-speed

6'4" and 270lbs............the FZ might feel a bit smallish for that size I suppose. I will have to disagree with the "gutless below 7 grand" statement though(comparing these two). My FZ1 will smoke my FJR.

    FJR Lite w/6-speed

Installed the fairings on mine. As comfortable as my FZ1 is, it cannot be compared to the comfort of the FJR. Not even close. I love my FZ1 but I have set it up more for sport than touring(other than the Corbins). 2 up the FZ1 is ok too, it just isn't the FJR!

    My ZX-14 Project Done! Finally!

That bike is gorgeous. As anal as I am about keeping my bikes clean.............I just can't imagine trying to keep the wheels, swingarm, etc looking good. It would drive me crazy. As I said before, that bike is beautiful. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Shoei RF-1000 Owners

I'm going out on a limb here and saying I wish I had never wasted good money on my Shoei (RF-1000). The helmet fogs up horribly in cold weather(even with the breath deflector installed), my mouth is way to close to the chin bar, and the replacement parts cost is so much higher than other...
