Why is the FJr being left out of tests?

Money talks. No changes, plus no advertising, and few dealers putting the bike on the showroom floor. As good as the bike is the company needs to SELL the product with some modifications. That is marketing.

    Helmets

Had a number of different helmets in my time, but just bought a Schuberth C3, now that they are DOT approved. Best fit, best noise reduction, best airflow I have had. Expensive but my head is worth it.

    Anyone Headed to Sturgis

eeksnake, nice to meet you also. We had a great trip home, left Belle Fourche at 4:00 a.m. Willmar time and was back in Willmar by 1:30 p.m. so made good time. Put on 1500 miles for the trip with great weather and for us good roads. Yep, I was surprised by all the sport and sport tour bikes this...

How Many FJRs Are Out There???

Not many in the Willmar, MN area. In fact I may be the only one as far as I know. Unfortunately when you go to a dealership around here that handles Yamaha they never have an FJR on the floor. Can't sell bikes if no one sees them. Compare that to a HD dealership.

My son and son-in-law are riding with me. Son-in-law has never been there so want to show him the sights. You are welcome to ride with us...

FJR on the Way - Suggestions

Congrats on your new scooter and like you have gravitated to a sport tourer. I have a 08AE and you will get used to the new style clutch and enjoy the ride. Best advice I can give is a Rifle Shield and Russell seat. Not sure if yours has risers but that is something to consider along with...

    Anyone Headed to Sturgis

Since I am a newbie with a FJR I was wondering if other FJR riders are headed to Sturgis? I have been out there a number of times on my HD but this year taking the FJR.

600 mile service under the belt

Well, the 600 mile service is finished and all is well. With 785 miles on the new 08AE I have to say I am pleased as punch. For an old HD rider, YEP age 64, I am having a blast. Not sure how it is going over with all my friends, me on a Harley Yamaha but my son and I will take the Feeger's to...
