So we were low on milk…

Nice little milk run. It at least had time to cool off on your way back. Another question: What kind of windshield do you have? My son rides a FJR and has added a different screen but it's not as large as the one you have.

    Latest trip to Colorado

I finally got around to posting my latest trip to Colorado on my website. My son and I rode up there around the Labor Day weekend and looked around for a few days. Select the Trips page and click on "Colorado 2008" under the Long Trips section.

New DFW area Day Ride Report

Hey, Rex Check out the ride I have to Clark Gardens. Even though my wife doesn't like to ride very much, she really enjoyed that place. I'm not planning anything in particular this weekend if you need someone to take one of your extra girlfriends for a ride.

New DFW area Day Ride Report

For those who live in the DFW area, I have added a new Day ride to my website. It includes the detail route maps and a few photos. My son didn't go on this ride, he was busy doing something else, so no FJR on this one. Anyway, you might want to do this ride sometime. It's under "Trips", "Day...

    Ride The Divide - Colorado

I also have maps of Colorado rides, both Microsoft Streets and Trips plus Garmin GPS files. Take a look and if you want the maps files, just sent me an email. We rode about 2400 miles within Colorado. I think we covered all of the best roads. Go to my website and look at Colorado2007 in the...

10 Days in Colorado - Over 200 photos

You're so lucky it hurts. Man, that's great country. I have to ride 600 miles to get where it's nice. You have to ride, maybe 60 feet. Thanks for your comments.

10 Days in Colorado - Over 200 photos

I layed out the website a couple of years ago at work when I wasn't very busy. So now, after a trip, I basically just cut and paste pages and only have to change the file source for the new pictures and then type in the new narrative. I've been on several motorcyle trips, but discovered that...

Rex, just let me know how I can help in your planning. I'll be happy to do what I can.

10 Days in Colorado - Over 200 photos

My son (he rides the FJR) and I completed our annual 10 day ride. This time we went to Colorado and stayed within the state for 8 of those days. I think we covered the best roads throughout the state. I have maps of each day's ride and then the pictures I took each day documented on my...

3 Day Memorial Day trip to Texas Hill Country

No need. Just use a ziplock bag and a ziptie. Works well for me. Too bad no one ever shows the beauty of East Texas. I grew up in East Texas so I never ride there; guess I want to see something different. It is very pretty with the rolling landscape and all the pine trees.

3 Day Memorial Day trip to Texas Hill Country

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I got involved in work and couldn't get away. The Garmin Rino 530 is waterproof, so I leave it on all the time. I have to take the radio off when it rains. I need to look for a waterproof one before my Colorado trip around Labor Day.

3 Day Memorial Day trip to Texas Hill Country

Texas is generally a sand box at this time of year. But, we've been lucky to have had alot of rain this spring. You're welcome to ride to Texas anytime. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks for the comments guys. Robert

3 Day Memorial Day trip to Texas Hill Country

My son and I just returned from a wet trip to the hill country. It rained on and off all three days, however we still had a good time. I never get tired of riding in that part of Texas. It's some really awesome, scenic country. I've updated my website (link below) with pictures of our trip...

New trip added to website - Crawford, TX

It's not necessarily too hot to do anything outside in the summer if you enjoy 103 degrees and 85% humidity.

New trip added to website - Crawford, TX

I've added a trip to my website https://www.st-texas.com. This was a day trip we did back in July. I hesitated to add this because it's probably of little interest to those that aren't in the immediate area. The only thing that everyone will probably recognize is the town of Crawford where...

Fort Worth to Glacier NP, Montana

Sorry it's taken so long to reply. I've been out of town this weekend. That was a Metzler Z6. He had about 7300 miles when it was replaced in Boulder.

Fort Worth to Glacier NP, Montana

My son and I just competed a 10 trip from Fort Worth to Glacier National Park and back. We rode 4,390 miles and had a great time. I have documented this trip on my website at ST-Texas On the main page click on "Trips" on the menu bar and when that page opens click on "Glacier 2006" under the...

Ft. Worth, Glacier Nat'l Park and back

Thanks, for your comments, guys. Yea, the last day is going to suck. I've done that before, coming out of the mountains where the temperature is great into TX where it's 103 degrees. The last time I did that in my Harley days, I went and bought a trailer. Thanks again, Robert
