    Gen III Handling Question

I had exactly the same problem. Appreciate hearing the solution. I now run PR4/GTs.

Michelin Pilot Road 4 - GT version?

I run the GT on my FJR, and the regular on my NT700V. Very happy with both.

    Stung

Yesterday, while riding in the Catskills, I was stung by a bee I hit with my head. Note to self - no more riding with visor up. I managed to get bike to side of road without crashing - just barely. I am allergic, and carry an epi-pen, but by the time I could get it, I was entering severe...

    Battery Access 2013/Gen III

As AKjitsu said, you can do this without cutting off the tab. I saved myself some time yesterday using his tip. That said, I will probably cut off the tab, just to simplify the process.

    Picked Up a 2013 Today

I too went from an NT700V to the FJR. Still have, and still like, the NT. A shame the motorcycle press panned it so hard.

    need bar riser help

Thanks! Just what I was looking for. Was afraid I'd have to remove triple-clamp, now my fears are confirmed. But, didn't want to do it without being sure.

    need bar riser help

I tried to install my one inch risers on my gen III today, but the large bolt is tack-welded to a metal plate, and won't come out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ever have a ride like this?

And, when the opposite happens, and it feels like a beast, I pack it in and go home. Too afraid of bad happenings on those days.

Zed88- Where did you get that shelf? That is too cool!

Rotella T6 causing clutch drag and hard shifting?

After reading this series of posts, I drained the Rotella from my bike, put in Yamalube, and put the Rotella in my diesel truck. Bike now shifts smoothly, and no hangups on downshifts. However, I think it's probably a fig newton of my imagination.

    Why can't I post?

I'm having problems resolving the fact that I appear to be signed in, but can't post. When I try to sign in, I get invalid user id or password, and don't know how to fix. Help! [email protected]

    Tires

What's the best way to get mail order tires mounted and balanced? I assume my dealer won't want to do this if he didn't sell me the tires.

    Garauld Highway Plates

Gary- Do you know of this happeneing to anyone? I used the pegs briefly yesterday, but I'm kind of afraid to use them! I'll try to be careful.

    Garauld Highway Plates

Garauld- Yeah, 3 inches is probably too long. Would 2 inches work, without scraping too much? I'm not a very aggressive rider, but still wouldn't want to be scraping. Maybe when I get home I'll bolt on some extensions, just to see what happens. It's only the pegs - the plates are perfect.

    Garauld Highway Plates

OBTW- If the footpegs were about 3 inches longer, my legs would clear the lower fairing. FYI - I have 32" inseam, and seat is set to high position.
