Well it's 8:16am here in Arnie country, so that's less than an hour to the finish time by my estimation. Last note form GM to LD rider said she was apprx. 187 miles to the finish. Just not sure what time it was sent. I don't think her Spot's activated, not a priority for sure. Good Luck that all I can say. Love to hear she made it.

That's very tight. 185 miles and her e-mail says 2 hours and 20 minutes before the finish line...sleeping on a bench. 80 mph average for the last couple hours including urban riding in SLC? That's a nailbiter if she wakes up!

My two cents,

It's gonna be tough to beat CW. She nailed a major bonus in NC that was tied to a Washington Bonus. The winner had to get everything in Virginia and DC and nearby in Pennsylvania. Plus I'm sure she got the stuff that was tied on the East and West coasts. Smart ride, but a gutsy ride. Made it through the rain where others turned around.

Speaking of A~J, he had a really good ride going till he turned West. Big miles in that first leg, and points until he got chased out of Louisianna. He missed some big stuff down south that R~B picked up.

R~B will be right up there in finisher points as well.

Beyond that it's anyone's guess.

From Ted T. on LD Rider: rumor has it that Wendy took second and Ken Morton took the win. He was riding a Wee-Strom. More as it comes in.

R~B was supposedly leading after the first leg, but in the second leg he took almost a day and half off to go see his aging parents in MI. The man has his priorities straight, no wonder I call him The Sage.

I would still like to see where he ranked at the end :)

Is that info confirmed or is it still a "rumor"?

Wendy sure seemed like she rode a winning solution....

It's a confirmed rumor....or a rumor that has been confirmed....perpetuated by an e-mail from the self-confessed "brain fried" winner. ;)

Bucky Dent likely placed 4th from what they could remember.

You can imagine when more information is know...it will be added. ;)

I would imagine the bar at the hotel is working overtime right now for those still in an upright position.

Is that info in a super-doubledog-secret section of the site?
You could sign up....but if you CBA colleagues found out...you'd be excommunicated and part of your anatomy remove.
 Good one Iggie, I deserved that.
But if it's true, a gurlie bike, a little underpowered 650 Suzuki won the the 10n10.. and a Harley Sportie won the IBR?

What, oh what is this Long Distance Riding world coming to?

Is it possible one of the fine CBA members will win something big next and really rock the LD world?

(it sure as heck won't be me, I have a reputation to uphold... )

....and did GM make it back in time?

CBA Pres has been outed. Good. Some of us have learned to be skeptical of the man's proclamations (or, alternatively, to appreciate his sense of humor).

Congrats to the winners, the runners up, and all of the riders!

Thank you. We'd really rather not have search spiders crawl across these details. ;) Others not sure of a detail....send a PM to the author or another in-the-know.

If it's on LDRider, the cat is out of the bag!
LDRidrer is not scanned by search spiders. Forums are. While it's probably cool by the RM....until we get RM permission...I'd prefer we don't feed the spiders. ;)

Thx.
