GP
Not at least a different shade of the same color anyway. All covered under the FJR Model Comparison Matrix which I'll be updating tomorrow. Not knowing much about previous FJR models, has Yamaha ever continued without a color change when introducing a new model year?
Yeah....why isn't the Dark Charcoal AE on the banner? That is a really nice color.Well, at least we can now add Dark Charcoal to the forum banner.
We can, right?
Here....
It's wondering "Why is he looking at me? He doesn't ride the one he owns???" :lol:Oh, and here are the BUGEYES of the new R1. Scary - that thing is staring at me, no matter where I move to!
No significant change. The bike has always been rated at 145 crank horsepower....or actually 146.take a looksee & check the header that says the '08 has 145hp!! ...first I've ever heard of it!!! All this time I figured I only had a paultry 127 or some wimpy figure like that on tap!?
Both have been done before. One's here. I'll leave it to you to search and find the other.Given the election season, some polling on color choices would've been interesting here. I'd also be very interesting to know the average age of the riders on this forum.

Dyno testing at the rear wheel is usually in the high 120 range......127 actually.
It's been in the Bin O' Facts for years.
