Maybe this explains the pricing announcement delay... And maybe why ETJ hasn't gotten his new ride in yet.

Blame it on VW?

Pure BS, the root cause of the problem is government regulations from a bloated useless agency called the EPA.

What "pricing announcement?"

VW may explain pricing delayed to February but the fact some 2016 FJRs are in private hands already means they are clear of the EPA. I know direct from Beta their 2016 RS dual sport models were delayed. Would not had they kept carburetors from 2015 but fuel injection was new and got extra scrutiny. FJR transmission could have done similar.

I already said that when I placed my order, I was told not to expect delivery until late March or April. The bikes that were already delivered were allocated bikes...mine was ordered not allocated.

Yes, Curly Joe's arrived yesterday and it was ordered.

Good God Kieefjr, overreact much? I just thought it was an interesting point to bring up the EPA's own overreaction. F*** me for posting on a Friday!

3,000 rpm at an indicated 60 mph. Sorry, no gps mounted yet so that's the best I can do.
3,400 rpm at 70 mph. 3,900 rpm at 80 mph. This is indicated speed from the stock speedo. I still haven't mount a gps......
I showed 3200 RPM @ 65 mph via GPS on today's ride. Additionally my speedometer was consistently reading 2 mph faster than the GPS.

w00t! Made it past the 600 mile mark today. Officially ready for the first service. A friend of mine and I did a nice tour of the Treasure Valley. Google maps says 209 miles, the odometer says 223.5.
