2017 FJR- Anyone heard anything?

It might look a bit (okay, maybe more than a bit) Ninja'ish, but if one's eye can somehow isolate the green in the above rainbow pic and visualize it spread across the rest of the bike, that could be a sharp color for the FJR. Guess I'm just a little bored w/ the gray and black and silver color schemes of recent years and am hoping they'll continue with the '14 and '16 ventures into color.

I'm still dreaming of an burnt orange FJR, though.

The first one is nice, but I do like that second one...while I prefer my cars classic and subdued in color, I like some vibrancy and color in my bikes. A dark English green, ala Triumph Bonneville, might look nice as well.

I am more concerned with what the 2022 model will look like. It should be at least that long until I consider replacing the 15.

As long as we're dreaming I'll add my wish. First and most important would be an AE/ES option. This would prove to be the motivation I need to move me into a new bike. If it came in a clean straight yellow, (not the race livery), with canceling signals that would just be icing on the cake. I'd also like to see the wheels return to silver over black. I'm sure I'm in the minority on this but to me it just looks dirty without the contrast to the tires. I know many of the purists out there could care less about an AE but if you gave it half a chance I think you'd realize it's advantages. Paddle shifter/Speed shifting and no need to use the foot lever being its biggest advantage. I could praise it more but that's for another forum. The other reason Yamaha should bring it back is because of the growing popularity of Hondas DCT.

I think the 2017 will boast a new stout front subframe...one that you can be proud of!

Painted in grey primer.

Also, they have revised the new electronics so that the handlebars vibrate in sync with the turnsignals to better alert the rider that they have had their blinky thing on for the last 5 miles as they went through the retail/mall part of town.

Another feature will be purple and orange underlights to alert other surrounding vehicles of the presence of the FJR and how awesome Clemson football is.

<edit> Ahem. There is a difference between the "A" models and the auto-clutch "AE" models. I do know that, and remember it when nudged. (Thanks for the nudge, Wheatie.)
