Met Jeff from Napa and Glen and friend from Reno.

Lots of FJR owners, not sure who was who.

Wish I could have put faces behind names on this forum.

Someone left a flip-top windshield on my 05 at the Alice's event. Thank you! One can never have enough of those (my 3+4 Cee Baily's is nice but not without some buffeting when extended).

I was debating how to best transport it home when the gentleman I was conversing with, Ray - a currently FJR-less rider seriously considering joining the ranks, offered to safely transport it in his cage for later retrieval. Two scores in one day! Thanks Ray! (Ray: You're welcome to keep it if you decide to get the few remaining parts needed to make it a complete bike :D ).

Sorry I missed the gang for the group ride. I lost track of time hanging around the 07's taking about one of the most important things in life.

Spent the remainder of the day wandering the familiar roads of the Santa Cruz mountains and breaking 20k on the bike. Was treated to a free wheelie show too by Roadrider's in San Jose by a squid wearing shorts and a t-shirt (need more Darwin!).

It was me who left it on your seat. Some guy had sold his 03 FJR which he bought used and never installed it. It looked just like my CB 4+3. I had no way really to carry it unless I strapped it on the Givi topcase rack and I didn't have any bungees. So I figured if I left it on a FJR seat someone would use it.

Uh, uh mm, where are some picies of those 07 Yamies from Alice's?....PM. <><

Woops, thanks there Highlander...great time at Alices and sorry I missed the ride group down the hill. Didn't ever hear from my wife and went on a short ride with waaane and got back home just in time to make my appointment. Anyway, loved the new color of the FJR but I think it still needs some metalflake to make it pop like the 06 does and while on the upper parking lot early that morning the three execs from Yamaha were standing around talking about my 06 in Japanese and I later detemined they were probablly checking out my Wild Bill's peg setup.lol. Was a good day and great to see some of the group again. Blessings, PM. <>< ;)
