I can't believe no one has mentioned this here yet.

From the Team Strange discussion board "Once again, we have the generous support of those nice people at The Iron Butt Association. The top 10 finishers in Butt Lite 7 will each receive a non-draw spot into the 2015 Iron Butt Rally. And the top finisher in Butt Lite 7 will have his/her IBR entry fee paid by TeamStrange."

Read all about it.

My first ButtLite was BL III back in 2002? It was my first multi-day rally. I screwed the pooch on the first leg because I thought I knew more than the rallymasters. Big lesson learned there. :) Over all, though, it was a great time.

I haven't rallied in a few years. Perhaps it's time to lube my pivot points and have some fun.

Any idea when they might open up registration and how quickly it usually fills up?

That means I would have less than a year to improve my reading comprehension.

Anyways, I've got the next 12 days to think about it.

Registration opens Oct 1. Last time they sold out pretty quick IIRC. I was on the waiting list and wouldn't have run the IBR if I hadn't waited.

Well you just failed your first reading comprehension test...

Read all about it.
Son-of-a-biscuit anyways! And I read Bart's post too the first day he posted it.

Enrolling in the School of Comprehensive Reading NOW.

BTW Mountain...that just cracks me that you changed your forum handle to RiderX.

Slightly more creative than Mountain. Nicer ring to it than Nutjob.

... still the same awesome rider though !!!

I might have to think about this one; never done a multi-day. But I have seen others do it!

I admit nothing! Hadn't seen that one before. Trying to think where it was taken.
Titusville, FL Astronaut Hall of Fame. I showed up on my old red Harley.

My wife tracked you down @ the Earnhardt statue in Daytona. Actually, she was driving up there for an early VA visit for my father in law and you passed her at a pretty good clip. She called and I filled her in on where you were going.

Hmm...Maybe. I thought the BL was a tougher ride than the IBR personally. A LOT (Like metric *** ton) less rest, and Team Strange has a way of making getting the bonuses just a tad more challenging.

I hear what you are saying TriggerT. Two long periods off the clock and the big rest bonuses. I think personally that is smart of the IBR. Takes some of the Nutjob element out of it (rogue rider who won't sleep at all or something along those lines). I was sufficiently challenged during both with similar results.

What am I even saying here? I think off the clock rest is good for sport.
