The 31st is just over a week away now, so just to make sure we are all on the same page...

Where: Circle K Gas Station on the NE Corner of US 98 and Rockridge Rd at 9am! Looking forward to it.

Road condition report:

A few weeks ago when I was on Rockridge Rd. and Green Pond Rd. the condition of the road was pretty bad. More loose pebbles/gravel in the corners than normal and the road surface in many places was really chewed up. I took a ride through there today and they have put down fresh patches of asphalt in several places. Didn't seem to be as many loose pebbles/gravel in the corners either.

Looks like Mel and I are out. Our daughter is coming home from the Netherlands after a 9 week research assignment and we are meeting her in Tampa that morning so I guess we will have to wait for the next one.

I should be good to go for saturday.

If anybody wants to ride over from the Tampa / Sarasota area let me know. I usually run up to Morris Bridge Rd and work my way over.

Hey Bust, what in crap is up with that map of Steve's? I can't see any curves in the roads and there are no elevation topographic shadings!!! Does Manatee Lovers Land have no twisties and no mountains? Must be Hell!

Okay, okay.....you're taking me out of context. :)

We maybe back in. Daughter is flying in Fri night from the Netherlands and thinks she will be awake at 9am for breakfast. Trying to suggest to her that we meet Sun to give her a day to get back into this time zone. Will keep in touch.

Yep, I'm meeting DaveB on the way over so I'll do at least a portion of the ride.

My wife & I are leaving for an 8 day vacation to Boston and Groton, Ct the next day, so need to be back in a somewhat timely manner to do final preps...

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

I might be out. I have to get some stuff taken care of with my boat trailer and it's not working out after work during the week so Saturday might be my work on the boat day.

I'm sure somebody else can lead the ride if I don't make it. I believe I posted the general route a few pages up.

I'll know for sure tomorrow night if I can make it or not. Hopefully I can get this taken care of tonight or tomorrow.

Dammit Sarge, you need to be there. Get off yer A$$ and fix the trailer!!!
LOL!! I'm definately going to try. I'm hitting the store on the way home from work today and will try to get it fixed tonight or tomorrow after work. Really depends on if I can get the wheel studs out while the rotor is on the trailer or if I have to take it all off.

I'll keep you posted. Right now I'd say I'm about 50 / 50 on going but definately leaning towards getting there.

Alright,

Looks like I am a go. See everybody at 9am at Rockridge Rd and Hwy 98.

Am I the only one under 40 years old? Hopefully none of you old farts keel over on me.
