Alright,
Looks like I am a go. See everybody at 9am at Rockridge Rd and Hwy 98.

Am I the only one under 40 years old? Hopefully none of you old farts keel over on me.
Better bring some ChapStik with ya so you can perform mouth-to-mouth on one of us old farts when the heat gets to us. No reach-arounds allowed!!

Heat index around 115 tomorrow by midday. It's gonna suck if it doesn't rain....and it will suck if it does!

Son of a Bitch, you Floridians can complicate (i.e.: **** up) a scheduled ride almost as well as the SoCal Crew can. If I didn't know better, I would think that you had FJRBluesman, johnny80s and Neil San Diego organizing this clustered fiasco!!! Thank Goodness it's Friday. Happy Friday, you old Manatee Whore RadioHowie you!

Hey old guy :) , I've roomed with petey many times at various gatherings...he's a great guy, and the only reason there was a problem with petey, if there was a problem with petey at CFR, is cuz someone else besides petey effed up. The man is gentlemen and great to be around...if you can keep up with him. ;)

I would love to travel with petey...he's been everywhere these past couple of years. :yahoo:

...but kids, family, college bills, reduced wages and finances are like a boat anchor to my mcy travel plans. Don't cry for me, cuz I am a blessed man...but I'm just like a kid in a candy store though, I want everything (mcy tripwise)...and I want it now. :clapping:

:)

I would even ride down to this old guys' gathering down in Florida...

I'll bring some Geritol for all you old gummers with bad hip joints!!
Dammit, Sarge...NOW yer gettin' personal! Not to mention the bad knees, and wore-damn-out L4 & L5 vertebrae.

Gettin' old's a bitch!

Not to mention The Bitch is gettin' old! She'll be 55 soon.

My favorite nickname for MissusHowie is "The Beast from 1955"

Has a Roger Corman-like ring to it. :)

I just hope they got my bran flakes and prunes at that convenience store we're meetin' at...
fljab, not to worry Brother; RadioHowie keeps a spare supply in the lid of his right saddlebag! jes' sayin'

You know, this is really sorting out to be a great run; Gen 1 + 2's, old and somewhat young guys, and plenty of Geritol!!! What more can you ask for ???

You out of the area folks are gonna be so jealous, admit it...

HEY NOW!!!

Still at the feckin' office! Damn supervisor walks in 2 minutes before I'm gone and says "I need to get a new PC up and running for blah-blah-blah...." At 5:28PM!!!

So here I am, just finishing up a new server install and getting ready to head to La Casa Del Sirenia.....on a Filthy Feej. Was gonna give him a bit of a spit and polish, but **** that.....you guys can see what a bike that's ridden long and hard looks like. :finger:

Oh yeah..........Bite me, dikpimple!

Don, I keep my "rain tennis shoes" in the right sidebag. Adds a delicious flavor note to the bran flakes.

In order to add even more flavor to your bran flakes RadioHowie, I recently discovered a dirty pair of my skivvies in the bottom of my Al Jesse Panniers on my BMW GS from the Mexico trip in April; I have mailed them to you FedEx mi Amigo! By the way, did a cockroach just fart or did Bust just say something? jes' sayin'

Alright, it's D-day. Hopefully none of you civil war era riders didn't pass away in your sleep last night. If so, we'll have a shot of warm milk for ya before we start.

I don't know if we locked down lunch plans but looking at the route and the suggestions of the bakery and the Lake Harris Hideaway it will most likely not be lunch time by the time we pass through that area.

So we have a couple of options.

1. We can find a place near the end of the ride in San Antonio. There is a mexican place and I think a sandwich place.

2. Everybody can just go their own way and figure it out.

3. We can eat the weakest person.

See you guys in a couple hours. Be safe.
