RogDeb and HYCLE are at the Kuskanax Lodge, looks like our cruise ship had a little problem, so we are eating ice cream in the room.

You go, girl!! Wish I could be there with ya but definitely there in spirit!! Give Barb a smack on the *** for me... :D

Where? As of this moment, room 229 the Selkirk Lodge Nakusp, BC. but, I am about to walk out the door and see if I can find Rog Deb and whoever else is in town already (in addition to Richard, Roy, Steve, Ray, and Billn who I just rode in with).

Heading South along the Icefield Parkway today we came upon some cars parked on both sides of the road. Some "fool" was standing in the lane giving us the "slow down" sign so I thought, "Oh-oh!" "Hey....I know that guy!" It was Pegscraper and Jacquie! We stopped and had a nice visit then continued on our journey South. As we turned to get gas @ the Lake Louise off ramp we saw the Highlanders. Dave and Dianne turned around and we had another great visit. They headed up to Icefield Central and we turned West toward Revelstoke. We had lunch (No...no photos O.M.) in Golden and continued our trip through "scattered showers". We checked into our hotel and decided to check out downtown Revelstoke. We found a liquor store so exskibum could get some red wine and saw an FJR parked at a hotel. Of course we wennt to check it out.....The Highlanders were in town. They'd just gotten there so we all went to dinner (Yes...photos...but no way to post them. Maybe Pegscraper can do so once we're at Nakusp).

Nakusp tomorrow! :yahoo:

Note: Old Michael...you can hate us all ou want. It was your decision to NOT ride here....and your loss. Wait until you se some of the photographs! :bleh:
Yes, we did run accross the 3 amigos (Rich, Mike & Steve) on our way to Jasper as they were heading to Revelstoke. We will heading to the rally on Friday after 3 days at Lake Louise. I will post more photos under "CFR Photos"

you know there is no prize for the last one home eh? :p

except that little sense of satisfaction of a ride truly well done and memories that last forever. :drinks: :clapping:

We have only made it to Alberta yet(Via Vancouver island, Alaska and the Yukon) headed for the Icefields parkway on Tuesday morning after that we start making our way back east.
What a trip! You have my coordinates if you need a layover in Frederection (new name as of CFR) . I'm off work the 14th and 15th. I might even ride with you the next day :)

We are home. We arrived on Saturday at 7:00PM The final stats are:

6 weeks

19,337 Kms (12,015 Miles)

27 States, including Alaska

7 Provinces

&

1 Territory

The great thing is that Ann Marie (and myself) would turn around and do it again tomorrow if we had the time.

WELL DONE! Funny thing about "The great thing is that Ann Marie (and myself) would turn around and do it again tomorrow if we had the time." is that I felt the same way as soon as I got home. I had only 22 days and 13,241 km :(
