Chilly Nads & Nipples ride

Oki Doki, weather for Helen GA, Franklin NC, Tallassee TN area looks very good for this weekend (Upper 60s, 20%, Partly Cloudy).

My GF is off work this weekend and Scab says that I should be riding with the extra ballast anyway. Best I can do is to traverse half the continent (NC) on Friday, ride the route on Sat., then engage worp drive back home on Sunday.

Anybody game???

Chilly Nads & Nipples, Revision-3

Most everyone is meeting and roughing it at the Ashe cabin Friday night.

On to the NorthGA mountains, across to Clayton for lunch, then north up 28.

Meeting place is Huddle House, 180 Hwy-64 East, in Hayesville NC, at 08:30 Saturday morning.

I've been needing to go to Helen. I don't usually ride the FJR down there because it's so hilly, but I'm sure one of y'all will catch me if I have to stop on uneven ground right? :lol:

How about some details? I usually ride down 60 to 180 and across to 129 to the Richard Russell Raceway to get there. Sometimes I go all the way down to the rockpile so I can ride up Blood Mtn. on the way.

For sure if I could make it that far south in a reasonable time, I'd be in. Perhaps you might change routing??? If you don't find any willing paticipants soon, please consider it. I'd be up for a bit o chilly nipples this weekend. I'd need to know really soon, though. I'd try to take the day off on Friday.

I've got a MSF class this weekend and no one around to cover it for me.

oh, yea, the SO just reminded me that we leave for Holiday vacation in 3 weeks, so that means the family wally wagon needs oil change, tire rotation, carpet cleaned, and parts just showed up for my son's CB 360... The list goes on. I'm just hoping for either FB2b in January or a "F-it, lets ride" weekend after the holidays.

Our compnay Christmas is Friday evening so I know it will be a late night for me. If it wasn't for that I'd be there. I'll just enjoy my rides in to the office this week (at 4:30am) and think of you guys (and gals).
