I'm also screwed this weekend. Daughter flying back from School on Saturday so it will be a nice trip to the airport so that I can hear her and her mother bithcing the whole way home :argue: . For everyone that does make it, have fun, an ride safe.

As for photographic evidence of the ride title...I dun wanna see no nads, but nipples of the human female form are always welcome. :)

I was approved to take Friday off. So, I suppose that means that I'm in!

Heidi

Hey, next time, huh?

TNT, did you get what you needed from this thread? I'm pretty sure that Jeff posted maps. I cannot view them. All photo sites blocked here at work.

If not, & you're interested in joining us, PM Jeff. He's a really nice guy & I'm sure that he'd help you out with whatever info that you'd require.

Yes, I got some info from him.

It would be a shame to miss cherohala being so close to the end of your westerly rout.

If you went a few more miles and took a left on 72 it runs into 411 I believe, take a left there and go about a quarter mile to 360 left again which is a real nice road that dumps you out on cherohala.

Left on cherohala to robbinsville or right to telico plains and the there are some nearly deserted roads that circle you back to 68 south which runs into 60 in ga.

Now you're talking about some of my favorite roads! I'll take the Cherohala anyday over Deals Gap. 68 out of Tellico Plains is great and 60 in N. GA is even better. Tellico also has 315 to 30....... my backyard substitute for Deals Gap.

At this point, since so many of the usuals cannot attend, we have planned to discard Deals Gap/Dragon. I think everyone attending has done The Dragon and Cherohala to death in recent years.

I'll explore options and post a new map soon.

Oh crap! Ashe is planning the route.

Remember what happened last time he did that?

Heidi, I direct you to the title of this thread! You wouldn't want to do any less would you?

Jim

Uhhh, that's already been pointed out to me Jim... but thank you so much.

Hey, it'll be like Skyway windscreen spacers, only cheaper! And seasonal!

Yessss, & thank you too David.

Hey, finally an FJR ride where I'm not the only chick. TNT is rumored to be joining us.

I think most would call me an old lady rather than a chick, but thanks! If I survive my first experience at dirt biking tomorrow, I'll be there Saturday.
