Just say "no" to chromed FJRs. Many in my community of fellow Gold Wingers go through the Kuryakyn catalog and simply order every piece of "safety chrome" (that's what they tell their wives when the credit card bill arrives) available. Those of us more performance-minded 'Wingers are comforted by the fact that we could add 50 lbs of Krispy Kreme lard to our *****, and still have a total bike+rider weight less than those Bling Hoes.

last week i went to the local guy .the cost was 2500 bucks to crome the wheels , polish the frame and swing arm , and the rest of the metal parts .

Those chromed mufflers that come standard on the FJR looked so out of place to me that I had to replace them with a set of titanium slip-ons.

Carbon Fiber for me. My taste MT BIKE and if you like chrome, then chrome away........

My other bike is a Goldwing, The chrome is very easy to wipe clean, BUT I only clean my FJR once in awhile. Too busy riding

As I tell the Kids. You can do what you want when you are making the payments. I assume you are the one paying for the bike??
