Concours to FJR Backrest Bracket

The late '90s Concours backrest (Kawasaki P/N K53043-052A) has proportions I like and these pics show it adapted it to my '07 using 3/8" x 3" x 4" aluminum angle from Mill Supply Outfit

The bracket is elevated 3 mm off the rear rack with spacers cut from Schedule 40 PVC pipe.

Hey Pilgrim, I know the backrest pad isn't a perfect rectangle, but what are the rough dimensions of it as far as hieght and width? Thanks

The pad is about 2" thick x 6 3/4" high x 9" wide (top) and 10 1/2" wide (bottom). Installed height is about 7 3/8" above the top of the back grab rail. I'm 6' and it's easy to clear.
