Phil - will you make Hendersonville Wednesday or make it a two day trip? Best case, I leave Michigan Monday, worst case, the sirens you hear Wednesday morning will be chasing me.

I'll be leaving Toledo Wednesday morning. That's pretty much all I know right now.

Still trying to decide. I wouldn't mind riding the Blue Ridge again, it's been a couple years, but I could do it either going down or on the way home. If you get delayed until Wednesday, I could try to keep up with you all the way to Hendersonville.

Things are looking good for us to take off Monday. My house to the hotel is just short of 700 miles. Not a fun day at all. Return trip should be 2 days - Sunday / Monday. I'm hunting for a stop over point down on the OH / KY border. That allows for some enjoyment on the trip home.

So, Bob & Joe... I've talked with Jay who would certainly be up to meeting u guys on Wednesday & then riding the BRP together on Thursday. Now, it'd be dependent on me... if I can get off early enough on Wednesday to meet at a fairly normal time. If I cannot get off early enough, we'll probably leave Thursday morning & shoot straight through, slabbing it.

I may have a change in plans that will affect room splitting. Janet will now be off starting mid September for at least a month, so she may be going. That being the case, Mike and Joe can split in Hillsville and I will get my own room. For Hendersonville, someone will have to split with Scott and I will get another room. Not sure yet. Either way I am definite on Hillsville Wednesday night and the rest of EOM.

I have no firm travel plans.... hmmmm I must be retired All I know is I'm going to pack some maps. Maybe just maybe I'll pick off a couple more states I haven't ridden in.

It looks like the likely plans are to leave Wednesday after work and slab down south of Indy somewhere...then on Thursday, ride a combination of 2-laners and slab to get to EOM HQ by suppertime. :yahoo:
