If shit happens right I might need to be in Bend OR the 17th.. Who, if shit happens...wants to let me sleep naked in their yard for a night?

Is there going to be a morning coffee at the Carnation *$s on the way to Auburn?
That's a definite possibility... ;)

Well if the morning is like today's, 39*s at 8am here in B'ham, the electrics will be on and a warm up spot will feel good by the time I reach Carnation. ;) I think I can find my way to Carnation but from there I'll most likely lose my way. :dribble:

There's an almost flat spot in my backyard, but the only critters available is the neighbors cat or a roaming racoon. The cat is sort of a domestic aminal. And B'ham is only 8 hrs from Bend, Over.

Thanks to Panman and Ahchiu for their assistance with the needed parts lists. Slacked a little but got around to ordering all my parts. Ordered from a slightly more expensive (than the shipper mentioned by Ahchiu) place to the south, but they're local so I can go and pick up the parts and the usually have everything.

Pretty excited about getting everything done.

I'm past due for a front tire change too. Might as well do that while my wheel and forks are off the bike.

"If shit happens." Does this mean you have a job offer in Bend? Or flying into Bend, since LaPine doesn't have an airport, and going to work for Ray? Or making reubens at the Harvest Depot?

I wouldn't move to Bend/LaPine until you've spent a winter there. Oh wait, you're from MI. Nevermind

Only pussies are afraid of the winter here. Bend is a lot warmer than Lapine cause it's a thousand feet lower.

Bust you don't have to sleep naked in the yard , you can snuggle with the girls in the barn.

L&S -- Offer still stands if you want a front tire sooner. I also counted up the SS-7 and only have one pint left. You'll need two add'l pints for the fork rebuild. EPS has it on the shelf.

I'll let you know. I can keep the bike immobile for the next couple of weeks. It'll be easier to just get it done while forks are being redone.

Thanks for the heads up on the fork oil. I'll go ahead and grab two more pints.

Please add me to the list. I'll have two tires to mount & balance, assuming they're delivered in time. I'll have to cage it over as I wouldn't trust the rear tire to take me around the block. :(

Sorry to say I'm going to miss your FTM again Bryan. Conflicting moto events and I'm now commited to being in Longview for a Dam Tour get together.

Thanks again for all your efforts in putting these together. Hopefully, I'll make the next one.

Waiting for your final ride report. :)

Keep Going!
Re-sending to confirm you noticed this Bryan. Thanks again.

However, if anyone besides PatL is participating in the SPANK Rally and is planning to attend Bryan's FTM, PatL and I and one more SPANK Rider will be meeting up at Bryan's at 9 am on the morning of the Tech Meet to snag bonus points. After exchanging signatures, I'll be off to Longview. PM me if you want to join in on the meet-up at 9am for 500 points per signature. Must be signed up for SPANK prior to the 13th.

Been away from the forum for a while, but glad I made it back in time to rsvp for the fall tech meet(assuming I'm not too late?). Hope to finally get my pair blocks installed while there and help out/observe the masters at work.

I have some farkles laying around to contribute to the swap/barbarianism:

  • Beowulf pipes
  • Premier cycles sport touring rack with givi mount
  • autocom system
  • ...
