Father with family in SUV chased, beaten by speed-demon bikers

The mother even admitted that she wasn't sure the SUV driver should be charged. She said she thought he could have made a better choice. What was that? Stay there and get taken out of the car and get beat up and get his face slashed sooner. Yeah he had choices. I truely do feel bad for the individual that is critically injured for the same reason Mark stated, but everyone makes choices and has to take responsibility for them.

Even though this crass action took place in NYC, the guy being reported as paralyzed is local to my area, near the NH border. All his family and friends in Lawrence, MA are on the warpath about their loved one that was just out for a ride and was trying to help another biker that was down and got blatantly run over and just left there like he was worthless. The family wants to know how the driver could have just left the scene and not taken responsibility for the mayhem he created.

Link to the least outraged report about the road rage victim. I do see that some of the more inaccurate and incendiary news reporting and links to Facebook and Twitter have now been taken off most of the news sites.

Its like when a bad guy breaks into your house and trips on a skate your kid left on the stairs and gets paralyzed... then the home owner gets sued because they created a dangerous condition or some other ********.

This is what I deal with every day and I'm absolutely sick of it. I can retire in just over 3 years, and I can't wait. These jackasses were taking over the road because they thought they could and they ended up hurting an innocent man and hurting themselves.

NOW they want sympathy?? Obviously, I don't wish that kind of harm on anyone, but he had it coming. He was not an "innocent bystander." He was an active participant and is now paying the price.

These people want to portray the Lein guy as the villain, but look at his driving when he tried to escape. He didn't go very fast, he never brake checked anyone, and he drove straight in his lane. Those actions alone show his intent and state of mind.

How many of us would have been all over the road trying to create as much space as possible and driving like crazy people?? I probably would have been, and so would most people, but not this guy.

The great thing is the video posted by the stuntaz is gonna cost them a fortune in court. You can bet the family of the ***** with the broken legs is gonna sue. That video is going to ruin it for him...As it should.

The latest news reports indicate that the police have arrested the rider who initially pulled in front of the SUV to 'slow him down' and the rider who was pounding on the window of the SUV with his fists has turned himself in. They are looking for the rider who smashed the window with his helmet. In the mean time, officials are still trying to sort things out and decide what to do next. And the wife of the unfortunate rider who was run over and has a broken back is making public statements trying to blame the SUV driver rather than the motorcyclists.

It's too bad the guy in the Range Rover wasn't driving an H1 with a snow plow on it. He could have taken out more of these morons! They make us all look bad!
