In the three weeks since I purchased my 2003, I've learned a lot from all of you and added a few farkles to her. Pictures of each add-on and install can be found here.

She already had the following:

  •
  • Yamaha OEM topcase
  • Power Commander III
  • MC Cruise

I've added:

  •
  • Fuze Block
  • Signal Dynamics BackOFF brakelight flasher
  • Wild Bill pegs and Kuryakyn pegs
  • Kuryakyn (black) ISO grips
  • RAM handlebar mounts
  • RAM cup holder
  • RAM smartphone holder
  • WynPro RAM-Bone mount
  • Sirius satellite radio
  • Voltage meter
  • Ambient temperature thermometer
  • Alaska Leather sheepskin seat covers

Still on order:

  •
  • Cee Bailey's reverse flip windshield
  • Cee Bailey's headlight protectors
  • Garmin Nuvi 765T GPS

Whoa dude! WHERE THE HELL did you get that LED ambient temp gauge?!?!? That's exactly what I have been looking for for a very long time!

Other than that, what the hell is that sticker doing on your tank still? :p

Welcome to the madness.

And Winterhaven, FL? By any chance are you the illegitimate step-son of our illustrious RadioHowie?

The temp gauge came from Cyclemax. Weird that that's the only place I've found it. Seems like one of those items that would have some demand...

I looked at a few and like that it "matches" the volt meter...

THANKS SO MUCH! You have NO idea how long I have been trying fo find exactly something like this. Several years ago I was trying to get Datel to make one. He was considering it but finally gave up on the idea. I have always wanted a 'lighted' ambient temp gauge and just could not find the 'right' one.

You're my HERO!

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Un-believeable! Saved by a newb after years of searching! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

You moaks DON'T DESERVE the temp gauge that comes with your FJR!!! :p
It's probably the only thing on a Gen II that works....without a recall. :assassin: :

If I recall, the Gen I's aren't getting any younger and before you know it they won't be making parts for them any more. Planned obsolescence, ain't it great. :(

What do you do when you ride to the end of the extension cord? No way the bike can handle all that electrical load! :)
bike runs showing datel 13.8 volts so all is well

turn off the bright bright bright Clearwater LED running lights and 14.0 volts

all added lighting is LED; the instruments/gadgets are miliamps and non issue
